  • Dematting Fee:

    Matting can be uncomfortable and even painful for your pup, so I take extra care to make the process as gentle as possible. If your dog is heavily matted, there will be an additional £10 dematting fee to cover the extra time and TLC needed.

    If the matting is severe, I’ll always contact you first to discuss the best and most humane option before continuing with the groom.

    Cancellation Fee:

    As a small, one-to-one grooming business, last-minute cancellations can really impact my day and mean another dog misses out on a spot.

    To be fair to everyone:

    • Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice: 50% of the appointment fee

    • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice or no-shows: 100% of the appointment fee

    Late Pick Up Fee:

    Every dog receives my full care and attention during their appointment. If pick-up is delayed, it can affect the next furry guest’s experience.

    If you’re more than 15 minutes late after being notified your dog is ready, a £5 late pick-up fee will be added. Thank you for helping me keep the day running smoothly!

    Flea + Tic Fee:

    Fleas and ticks happen—it’s nothing to be embarrassed about! But for hygiene and safety reasons:

    • If fleas are found during the groom, a £10 fee will be charged to allow time for thorough disinfecting. I’ll also need to close the salon for 24 hours to prevent any risk to other dogs.

    • If ticks are found, there’s a £5 fee. Please note: I don’t remove ticks, but I’ll let you know and recommend seeking advice from your vet.
